1.全体学生问好:Good afternoon, class.
2.出示单词卡片和词语卡.
回忆上节课的单词.
教师指名来读英语单词并说出汉语意思.或看汉语说英语.Open your book.
二.整体感知,自主定向
教师出示单词卡片指名说出汉语,师读英语
三.自学讨论,集体交流
1.教师教学课题单词,同学们有不理解地地方请提出来。出示课件
2.教师自己先读,然后让学生读数遍以加强记忆。
3.教师在行间巡视指导。
4.提示学生自己可以结组也可以自己拼读或背读。
5.让学生自己来当一会小老师。
老师先做示范。在学生有错误或发音不对时教师要指正同时注意语气。
教师说英语句子,让学生根据老师说的事情来回答短语.

The teacher leads the students; the students do a lot of activities. Group work.

Step1 Greetings
Step2 Lead in
Greet the whole class as usual. Then say this class is special for us .It is not as usual. What do you want to say to these teachers? (Show Slide 1) Can you guess how I am feeling now? You can ask me “Are you...?”In fact, I didn’t sleep well last night, because of this class; I’ve got a headache now .How is you feeling now?
a. Look at this, (one arm) what’s wrong with you?
b. (head) now asks her, please.
What should he do? See a doctor .That’s our today’s topic.

Step 3: Revision
Today we are going to learn something about how to see a doctor, first let’s revise some useful words about feelings of illness. (Show Slide 3)
When you see a doctor , what will the doctor ask you first ?What’s wrong with you ?(another way to say this sentence ,please .) ok ,now let’s ask and answer by these pictures .(Then ask Ss to ask and answer in different ways.)Now look at me, what’s wrong with me? (Backache) I am too tired.
Step 4: Presentation
I think everybody has ever seen a doctor .So has Jill .Now let’s listen to a dialogue with the three questions.

What are Jill’s feelings of illness?
She has got a headache and a cough
What does doctor do with her?
He takes her temperature.
What does the doctor advise her to do?
Take this medicine three times a day.
Have a good rest and drink more water.
(Does she need to give an injection? How to take the medicine? I think you should drink more water, because it’s good for your health .ok, let’s read the dialogue carefully.)

Step Four: Make a conclusion
Let the students say useful expressions by themselves .So if you don’t feel well, you’ll see the doctor .When you see the doctor, what will he ask you?(one by one ). (Show Slide)Then let Ss read it together. How do you answer the doctor’s question? It means when you go to see the doctor, you may say: (one by one). (Show Slide)
Step Five: Drill
Just now, I taught how to see a doctor Do you know how to see a doctor now? Let’s make a dialogue in pairs or in groups, then act it out.

Now let’s have a competition .Group1stands for doctors ,group 2 stands for patients .If you say a sentence ,I will give your group a big a on!(wait for me ,if not ,you won’t get an apple you had better not say the same sentence..)
At last, guess an old saying by a picture.(one apple a day keeps doctors away. )

1、课前预热。
2、通过教师做出动作来提醒和引导学生来,复习有关疾病的短语。
T: What’s wrong with me? (Point to his mouth and pretend to be suffering)
Ss: You have a toothache.
T: What’s wrong with me? (Point to his head and pretend to be painful)
Ss: You have a headache.
T: What’s wrong with me? (Point to his stomach and pretend to be suffering)
Ss: You have a stomachache
T: You are really a good doctor.
Step 2新课展示(New Presentation)
1、教师对本课重点词汇和重点句型进行讲解。用What’s wrong with you?来询问,用I feel+形容词来描述自己生病的感受。用I have +身体病痛的名词来描述自己生的病。
T:一般来说,医生询问病人病情,经常使用的是 What’s wrong with you?
我们还可以说 What’s the matter with you ?
我们可以简单用“I feel +形容词” 来描述自己生病的感受。
I feel bad.
I feel better.
还可以很详细地回答I have +疾病的名词
I have a stomachache/ headache/toothache…
2.本课我们还要学习两个表示疾病的新词--- cold(出示图片)我们可以说 I have a cold或 I catch a cold. 例如 I have a fever\I catch a bad cold.(患重感冒)
3.用祈使句来给病人建议。
T: 当医生完全诊断出病人的病情之后,就要对其进行治疗,这时多使用祈使句。此处祈使句是给予病人建议,并记住这些新单词。

4.现在我们还将学习一个新单词serious(严重的),看过病之后,大家通常喜欢问严重吗?该怎么说呢?Is it serious? 那么医生是怎样安慰病人的,她通常会说“Don’t worry . Nothing serious ”.(别担心,没什么大问题)
5.根据刚才学习的词汇了解课文大意吗?引导学生试着翻译文中对话,并把不懂的词句划出来,同时找出本课的重点词句。并归纳整理。
6.现在请大声朗读课文,然后回答下面问题:
What’s the matter with Tom? (He has a cold)
Is it serious? (No, it isn’t )
What does the doctor suggest(建议)?(Take some medicine and have a good rest)
Step3巩固活动:
教师引导学生两人一组,模仿本课内容自编自演对话。一个扮演医生,一个扮演病人。然后找一组在讲台上表演。
Step 4课堂小结:
本课我们继续学习了关于身体不适和疾病的单词,并且还学习了医生询问病人身体状况的最基本句型。 What’s wrong with you?
