1、Oh my God! 天哪！
爱看美剧的同学对这句话不会陌生，老外在“震惊”的时候常常会说，类似的表达还有：

2、catch on理解，变得流行
eg:

3、go through & get through
go through在这里表示“经受，遭受”
eg：
He was going through a very difficult time.
他正处于非常艰难的时期。
get through表示“克服”
eg:
It's hard to see how people will get through the winter.
难以想象人们将怎样熬过这个冬天。
4、such a mess一团糟
这个短语在这里指的是Ross的精神状况一团糟，所以“He is such a mess."可以翻译为：一副失魂落魄的样子。
一般来说，这个短语用来表示环境乱糟糟的
eg:

5、say
这个词大家肯定都认识，也熟悉它作为“说”的用法。

go for broke: risk everything in one big effort全力以赴
eg:

7、steer clear of you那我可得离你远一点（这里是开玩笑的意味）
steer clear：避开，尤指一些会令你有麻烦或者危险的东西
eg:
I think a lot of people, women in particular, steer clear of these sensitive issues.
我认为很多人，特别是女性，都会回避这些敏感问题。
