比秋天晚一点的是孤独
落叶像笼罩乡村道路一样。
一个接一个下，一个下，再下
时空交错，很像。
矛盾和混乱，把我们
不动声色地引领到更晚的深秋
村口建在流水上
又服从大地。
一旁的野花带着不可触摸的神秘
开了又落，落了又开
等到云雀的心对着
夕阳涌动，从树梢掠翅飞过
投下的黑影涌向你
如同深浅不一的脚印
左边是故，右边是乡
其他已经变得无足轻重

Late Autumn

In deep autumn, the taste of lonesomeness is in the air,
hanging over the leaf-strewn country roads,
one leading to another as in a relay and going on and on.
The interweaved time and space spreads
contradictions and mystification, drawing us
deeper and deeper into the season at blindside.
A tree stands in the creek at the village entrance,
like a good son of the earth, surrounded by wild flowers
of untouchable mystery,
wilting after blooming, blooming after wilting.
But wait, see the skylarks open their hearts
at sunset and fly over the treetops,
leaving us with only moving shadows to follow,
like footprints of different depths and shades;
the left foot going back to its roots, the right foot heading for home,
as everything else begins to fade away.
