一般来说，完整的英文信件应由以下部分组成：

信头：收信人和寄信人的地址(彼此熟悉的时候可以省略)和写信的日期；

称呼：往往是Dear收信人的称呼。

信：信的主要内容根据写作的目的不确定长度。

结尾：问候语和签名。

感谢信是当收到他人邀请，得到对方热情的款待、帮助、推荐,或对客户和供应商的支持表达诚挚谢意的信件。在日常社会交往和商务活动中，感谢信不仅能增进朋友间的感情，同时还能加强企业客户间的联系。商务交往中的应酬较多,受到了邀请，得到了对方热情的款待,或得到了他人的帮助、推荐、介绍，这些情况都需要写感谢信表达真诚的谢意。写感谢信时应注意一事一谢 ，篇幅要简短,措辞要自然，语气要诚恳。

(一)基本要求

1.称呼(Salutation) :感谢信通常写给帮助款待、推荐过自己的人，或写给支持过企业的客户和供应商。如果是写给朋友的感谢信，称呼栏可用Dear➕名字。例如Dear Jane,Dear Mary等。如果知道收信人的职位，可在称呼一栏写Dear Manager, Dear President等。如果知道对方姓氏，称呼一栏可用Dear Mr./Miss/Ms./Mrs.➕收信人姓氏，如Dear Mr. Liu,Dear Miss Black等。

2.信的主体(Body):感谢信的主体通常包含感谢的原因，要展开说明,可以说具体的理由，也可以说接受帮助的具体事例，写明对所受益之事的感激之情。例如你参观了某个大学,得到了对方热情的款待,或收到别人送的礼物，你就可以写信表示感谢。感谢信要具体提及感谢的原因，语言要真挚，篇幅要简短。最后以再次表达感谢之情结尾,并表达继续合作、保持联络或有机会报答对方的愿望等。

3.结尾(Conclusion) :一般写上Yours gratefully/respectively/faithfully,然后签名。

③I am writing to express my thanks for...我写这封信是为了表达我对....的谢意。

④I am truly grateful to you for...因为..... ,我真心感激您。

⑤I would like in this letter to convey my heartfelt thanks to you for...在信中我要为.....向你表达我真挚的谢意。

2. 中间句式

①Thank you so much for the gift you sent me.非常感谢你送给我的礼物。

②Many thanks for all the things you have done in helping us to...非常感谢您为帮助我们....所做的一切。

③I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt appreciation for your timely help and assistance.我借此机会感谢您给予我们的及时帮助和支持。

④Nothing will be able to erase our wonderful memories，we will remember this time forever.没什么能抹掉我们美好的记忆，我们会永远铭刻在心。

⑤Many thanks for your cooperation.非常感谢您的合作。

⑥Many thanks for remembering my birthday.非常感谢记着我的生日。

⑦This is to thank you for your wonderful hospitality.感谢您的热情款待。

3. 结束句式

①Thanks again for your kind help.对你的帮助再次表示感谢。

②I am more grateful than I can say.任何语言都不能表达我的真摯谢意。

③Please accept my thanks,now and always.请永远记住我的谢意。
